1. What is linocut?

Linocut is a form of relief printmaking that involves carving a design into a matrix, usually artist linoleum or vinyl, and then rolling ink across the uncarved areas before pressing the carved matrix onto paper. I individually ink and print every piece by hand, which creates subtle, variations unique to each print—a hallmark of the handmade craft. I always photograph a representative print from each edition so you know what to expect, but please note that your print may have minor variations in tone, texture, or ink saturation compared to the photographs shown.

  2. What if I want a different colour or size?

I can accommodate most colour requests, but due to the nature of printmaking it is impossible to change the size of the image itself. I am happy to arrange a digital print of an original linocut in a different size, however.

  3. Do you do custom prints?

I take on a small number of custom print commissions each year and absolutely love hearing your ideas! Due to time constraints I do have to limit how many I accept, so don't hesitate to reach out early. Send me a message and let's talk!

  4. What is your return policy?

I accept returns on edition prints within 30 days of purchase, provided items are in their original condition and packaging. Please note that custom and commission work is non-refundable, as these pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be resold.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error on my end — in which case I'll make it right. For international returns (UK and Europe), please be aware that return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties are also the buyer's responsibility.

To initiate a return, please send me a message through my Contact page and I'll walk you through the process.

  5. How can I request a refund?

Refunds are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. To request one, please send me a message with your concerns through my Contact page. Refunds are usually processed within one week upon receiving the products back.

  6. What if my order arrives damaged?

I package everything carefully, but occasionally things happen in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage (including the packaging) and send me a message through my Contact page as soon as possible. I'll work with you to find the best solution.

  7. Do you ship to my country?

Currently, I can only ship to Canada through my website. If you are from outside Canada, please reach out through my Contacts page to discuss shipping and payment options.

  8. Is your art AI?

Never! Linocutting is an entirely analog, hands-on process. For custom pet portraits specifically, I partner with Badlands Design Co. to create a template within a few days — something that would otherwise take me weeks. This gives my clients a clear visual to collaborate on before I pick up the carving tool, building trust and ensuring the final piece is exactly what they envisioned.
